Call on Boris Johnson to protect UK aid

This week, the government is considering a proposal to scrap the department that has, for over 20 years, led the fight against global poverty: the Department for International Development (DFID).  

UK aid is life-changing. It helps girls in warzones stay in school, it stops babies from dying of preventable illnesses, it provides safe spaces for survivors of violence.

Thanks to DFID, 32.6 million people have been helped by UK aid since 2015. 

Following an outcry from campaigners like you, the government has said it is willing to reconsider this proposal. Now is the time to send the government a message.
